of unit must be respectable All units must have WILEY SANDERS TRUCK LINES decals on both sides All units numbers must be applied to truck Safety equipment, including:
Must pass all standards set forth in Part 393, of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, 49 CFR Equipment must meet the following requirements or will be put OUT OF SERVICE until repairs are made: Steer tries must measure no less than 6/32" Drive tires must measure no less than 4/32" Steer axle brake travel must not exceed 1 1/2" All other brake travel must not exceed 1 3/4" Brake lining including metal backing must be 14/32" or above All lighting must work No air leaks No fuel leaks No oil leaks, including wheel seals Windshield rack not over 1/4" wide and not intersected by any other crack. No damaged area which can not be covered by a penny(3/4" diameter), if not closer than 3" to any other damaged area Rear mud flaps must be in place Stack height must not exceed 13'6" and no less than 13' Slant cut must be to rear Turnout must be to side of unit and not interfere with air shield. Turnouts that interfere with air shield must be modified to a slant/straight cut 5th wheel height 48" or less Must not weigh more than 19,000 lbs. with fuel and driver |
